During the life of a previous COSA website, data was collected with the view of reconstituting the school register to complete one from earlier times. This was being compiled by then Association Secretary Malcolm Williams but I’m not sure where the project has got to.
It was intended that the main copy of the Register would reside in the Great Hall at the old School during its compilation. In the Great Hall also lies also the first School Register, which listed pupils of the School from its foundation until 1925.
Regarding a 1927-1966 Register, there are lists of Old Boys on this site which could be used, although there may well be significant overlap between them.
- For example, we have managed to retrieve the extraordinary Who Did What? list that Mike Chew concocted as part of the original data collection for the register, a colossal piece of work.
- We also pay homage on this site to those who have passed away, in our In Memoriam page and the longer Obituaries collection.
- The COSA Membership lists (and see below), assembled some time around 2012-2016 and now out of date, do contain a lot of names – some of whom may no longer be with us it is true.
The COSA Membership List
The list accessible from the links below is a snapshot of the COSA membership collected together at some point in the early 2000s. It is therefore not a complete school register for the period and many of the Old Boys listed may well have disappeared since it was compiled.
However it may be that you will find here the odd name or two that will bring back memories?
