Alan Trinder (1944-51) recounts that teacher Ian “Spud” Taylor left “half a garageful” of ephemera and precious OHS documents behind when he died. Because of his close relationship with Spud, his sister, the only relative left, asked Alan to take the items that were relevant to the school. COSA is grateful that The Oxford History Centre has since taken the majority into safe keeping for future generations, but there are still these odd items left.
A full gallery on this site of these items is in preparation, but here are five photographs of the exhibition tables at the Diamond Anniversary event. By kind permission of Alan Trinder.
